The Los Angeles public schools hold many book fairs, events and purchase many supplementary books and materials. Their website is extensive…and worth exploring if you offer books for children, youth, teachers or administrators. There are many reference lists and recommendation lists worth pursuing.
Use the “Search” capability to find “book” related resources such as “Books Recommended by…” Middle Schoold Literature Sites”, “Literacy page”, “Book fair” …etc.
Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) holds an Annual InfoTech, an Instructional Technology Fair in May that is presented for the teachers, administrators and staff of the Los Angeles Unified School District. 2004’s theme was “Becoming Globally Competitive in the Information Age”.
